Gegard Mousasi Confirms USA Debut; Mousasi vs Belfort For Affliction

Gegard Mousasi made his successful heavyweight debut last night at the DREAM.9 SuperHulk Tournament when he defeated Mark Hunt via submission. Gegard will patiently await the word as to who he will face in the second round of the tournament.

While awaiting the call, Mousasi will be making his debut in America when he fights Vitor Belfort at Affliction 3. Mousasi confirmed the bout with M-1 Global shortly after his victory late this morning. Though he could not confirm what weight class the bout will be contested in, they will likely agree to 205 pounds.
