TheFightNetwork.com is reporting that Brandon Vera signed a six-fight extension with UFC. His return bout will likely be at UFC 77 in October. He is expected to face Tim Sylvia.

Vera was last seen in the Octagon at UFC 65 when he dismantled former UFC Heavyweight Champion, Frank Mir.
