The long and very anticipated matchup between Dan Lauzon and Chris Horodecki may actually be in the works for Affliction's third event, which is rumored to take place August 1st.

It has now been confirmed, by an outside source that Dan Lauzon and Chris Horodecki have both verbally agreed to meet at Affliction's third event.

Chris Horodecki actually confirmed the possiblity and even said that it would be an exciting fight, and anticipated at the least.

"We had planned to fight each other since October of last year," Horodecki said. "It's definitely a fight that could happen.

"I think it will be an exciting fight. You've got two young guys that want to put on a show. A little bit of counter styles, but both exciting and both always looking for the win. We'll see what happens in the future."

More details will come into the newsroom in the next couple days, as well as any un announced fights to take place on their third event.
