UFC 99 Nets $1.3 Million Live Gate with 12,800 Spectators

UFC made history Saturday night with their debut in Germany, for UFC 99 The Comeback. The event drew in 12,800 spectators with a $1.3 million live gate. The numbers were issued at the post-fight event press conference.

Despite not selling out the 20,000 seat arena, the event was still a success after having to endure several setbacks with critics in a country that didn’t have a UFC broadcast deal in place, just four months ago.

The amount of complimentary tickets that were released to the public were not announced.
