Franklin defeats Loiseau in an unanimous decision and retains the UFC middleweight title. Franklin broke his left hand during the second round, but continued to fight until the end of the bout. He ultimately won by unanimous decision, with judges scoring the bout 50-42, 50-42, and 50-43.
