Light Heavyweight bout: Quinton "Rampage" Jackson vs. Marvin Eastman

Jackson defeats Eastman by knockout due to strikes at 3:49 in round two.

Lightweight bout: Roger Huerta vs. John Halverson

Huerta defeats Halverson by technical knockout due to strikes from the back mount at :19 in round one. After Huerta delivered what appeared to be a knee strike to the head of Halverson, who was on his knees and not in position for a legal knee strike, Huerta was warned to not attack Halverson's head with knees by referee Yves Lavigne. In the post-fight interview, Huerta asserted that the knee actually landed on Halverson's shoulder, which is a legal target for knee strikes to grounded opponents.[8]

Heavyweight bout: Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipović vs. Eddie Sanchez

Filipović defeats Sanchez by technical knockout due to strikes at 4:33 in round one.

Middleweight bout: Anderson Silva vs. Travis Lutter

In the main event of the evening, Anderson Silva defeats Travis Lutter by submission at 2:11 in round two. A combination of a triangle choke and elbow strikes, which Silva delivered to the top of Lutter's head, caused the tapout.[9] Lutter contends that the triangle choke was the chief factor in causing the tapout: "But I tapped because of the choke. I was going to sleep. I'm not beat up at all."[10] The bout, originally scheduled to be a title defense for Silva, was changed to a non-title match when Lutter failed to weigh in at the contracted weight for the title fight.
